First, let me apologise for taking so long to update you all... it's been a busy couple of weeks!
I went and saw my doctor, and it was all good news. She said the cyst is probably a corpus lupus cyst - very common in pregnancy. In fact, it forms after ovulation and emits the hormones that sustain a pregnancy (if there is to be one) until the placenta develops and takes over, then deflates and disappears by the second trimester! As for the mixup with my dates, well, that was the whole point in going for the scan in the first place. I have a follow up scan organised for October 2nd, where we'll get to see how well Crumb has grown since the inital scan, so that's something to look forward to.
It's school holidays now, and my Mum and my brother came to visit for a few days. Dad would have come too, but he hurt his back a little while ago and was unable to sit for the length of the trip. They went home today, and the house seems very empty. It was lovely spending some quality time with them both!
Something Nat and I are very excited about was confirmed today - Kiya's name has been offically changed! We received the new birth certificate in the mail, and she was delighted when I showed her. She now has a second middle name - Aroha, which Nat chose for its meaning; and the same surname as the rest of us.
