Okay, so I know its been forever again... but there really wasn't much to say!
Life's been carrying on, with not a lot happening until recently.
Nat has been working hard, and is currently enjoying the 5 day Easter weekend break. Kiya, too, is quite happy to have a couple of extra days off school. She is really looking forward to her birthday next weekend, and is busy making plans with me for her sleepover party on Friday night.
Josiah and Xavier are both good, growing well and developing their own distinct personalities. Josiah goes to afternoon kindy twice a week. He loves it, and seems to be starting to make friends there. Xavier is now catching up to Josiah in height, and is already heavier than him!
As part of my antenatal care, I see an obstetrician for secondary care (so that the midwife is happy the hospital are organised as far as my blood disorder goes). For the last month, Jackson has been breech (head up, bum down) and was still so when I saw the obstetrician for a regular appointment last week. Nat and I have been discussing our birthing options, and after talking with the obstetrician we've agreed that if Jackson turns to head down then I'll have another waterbirth like with the other children, and if he doesn't then we'll probably have a caesarian. We are more comfortable with the idea of a planned c-section, where the hospital are prepared for me as a potential bleeder, than with the idea of an attempted breech birth where intervention is common and the chance of an emergancy c-section quite high.
I have the form to get a scan done (and will book it in next week) just before I go back to see the obstetrician in a few weeks time. If Jackson is still breech, any final decision will be made then. So those of you who are of a prayerful inclination, prayers that he would turn before April 14th (next ob appointment) would be greatly appreciated!
